oh diablo 3
back to farming inferno mode, key word there, farming, not dying on elite packs. the old way of boss farming is out, farming portions of the game is in, those stacks of valor and bonus drops on bosses are awesome. tho there seems to be a lot of people struggling with inferno, the quality of players in public inferno games is revolting.
here is some advice on beating inferno:
1. Dont Suck. Stop standing in the fire, stop getting frozen, stop casting your hydra on electrified, stop kiting into new packs of mobs, stop kiting yourself into a corner, stop getting into range of vortex, dont chase behind a molten mob… the list goes on. You can mitigate lots of incoming damage… with your mouse.
2. Dont Suck More. Pay attention to what is going on around you, turn off your itunes in the background, 90% of this game revolves around identifying key sounds and animations in the game that indicate something is going to happen, ie Butcher points with his cleaver… he is going to toss out his meat hook and try to grab you.. so step to the side, its not that hard.
3. Dont Suck Again. Manage your cooldowns, dont pop diamond skin or smoke screen just because an enemy is near by. actually wait until that zombie lifts his arm to hit you, try to get away, if you cant, then burn a cooldown. I see people do things preemptively, i wonder why, and then i remember they suck, and there is no real reason why. plan, think about what youre going to do before you do it.
4. Dont Suck: Encore. use of your skills should be instinctive, not reactions. speculate on what could happen, you should know what your “outs” should be before you get yourself into a fight. Stop clicking once to move, imo you should click the mouse no less than 30 times to get from the bottom of the screen to the top. use the terrain to your advantage, its your 4th time through the game, you should have this part figured out. dont pick up health globes when youre full health, youll need those later.
The game isnt too hard, you just have inane gaming ability, quit complaining. gear is a crutch.. to an extent.. if your gear is THAT bad, go back to Act 4 Hell, kill 5 elite packs, kill Izual, kill Diablo. Rinse and Repeat. If you cant do this at 60, find a new hobby.
